CATL\'s 14-billion-yuan Project Launched in Jining

On the morning of December 24, the on-site promotion meeting of the Shandong Times New Energy Battery Industry Base Project took place at the new energy battery project site in Yanzhou District, Jining. The Shandong Times project manager introduced the new energy battery industry base project of Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL) in the main venue.

According to sources, CATL's new energy project is the largest one among Jining's investment promotion projects in recent years, and it marks a milestone of Jining in boosting its energy industry chain, upgrading its industrial structure, and accelerating its progress toward a city that boasts manufacturing and achieves high-quality development.

The new energy project is one of the first batch of projects and has alone received an investment of 14 billion yuan. These projects enjoy great industry influence and show strong industry-driven ability and promising development prospects. After being put into operation, they will further help consolidate Jining's "231" advanced manufacturing foundation and infuse Jining's high-quality growth with premium increment.
